Welcome to ProRefuel ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have control over your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application (the "Service") and its integration with Strava.
2. Information We Collect
When you use ProRefuel, we may collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture (via Google Auth or email sign-up).
- Strava Data: If you choose to connect your Strava account, we collect activity data such as activity type, distance, duration, elevation gain, heart rate, and power data. This allows us to calculate your caloric needs.
- Physical Stats: Weight, height, age, and gender (if provided) to improve the accuracy of our metabolic calculations.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data solely to provide the Service functionality:
- To analyze your physical exertion from Strava activities.
- To generate personalized nutrition and fueling strategies using AI.
- To display your activity history and progress.
We do NOT sell your data to third parties.
4. Data Sharing and AI
To generate your nutrition plans, we process your activity metrics (e.g., "1000 calories burned," "2 hours duration") using external AI providers (Google Gemini). We send only the necessary anonymous metrics required to generate the plan. We do not share your name, email, or exact location data with AI providers for training purposes.
5. Data Retention & Deletion (Strava Data)
We respect your right to hold your own data.
- Disconnecting: If you disconnect your Strava account from the ProRefuel settings page, we strictly and immediately delete all your Strava activity data and access tokens from our servers.
- Revoking Access: If you revoke ProRefuel's access via your Strava settings, we receive a webhook notification and automatically delete all your data associated with that Strava account.
